Some the people are afraid of talking or being next to a special person, but what does “special” mean? Special means unique, individual, distinguished, extraordinary, exceptional, having a specific function or purpose, so how can people be afraid of? The answer is easy for me; people is scared of what they do not understand, what they do not like, what they do not care. However in the show, all this adults were very brave and interviewed many people without any kind of fear or disrespect. Are you a bad parent if you do not understand your child’s behavior? I cannot think about any parent that cannot want the best for his or her son. I think that the common answer that every single mother should say when there were asked what you want a boy or a girl is I do not care as long as he or she would be born well. I understand that for persons with any kind of disability might be difficult to do what others do, but we cannot treat them as weird things that should not be with us. I think that that is completely inhuman, and they can comprehend everything with just a little of patient and love.

SUPER SIZE ME

The first impression that I had about Americans when I came was that they are a little overweight, but after watching Spurlock’s video I am completely sure that obesity is a big problem in the United States. Personally, I do not eat McDonald’s just Wendy’s, no big difference, but I cannot imagine eating every single day three times a day the same food for a month. However, I was amazed about the persistence of Spurlock, that even after the advice of the doctors to stop the diet; he did not do it. He proved that the fast food is dangerous to everybody’s health, that the “super size” size was too much for a single person to eat, that fast food turns as an addiction that you cannot stop, and that without exercise and unhealthy diet a person gets weight. It is not bad or insecure to eat fast food as long as you eat them with moderation and in spacious periods of time.

ACCIDENTAL DOCUMENTARIES

Sometimes it is easier and convenient taped our thoughts, ideas, or feelings, so we feel much free to express ourselves. I noticed the emotional distance that was created by the physical disappearance of the son because he went to a medical school; mother, father and sister recorded their feelings and all that they thought was important to him to know. Also I observed the concern of the parents about their kids’ future. I think that should be worried to see your kid taking decisions that you like a parent thinks that are wrong, but it is part of the life that each person faces their own problems, fears, and happiness. Finally, I perceived that sometimes you are proud of someone that you think you know very well, but then you realize that he or she is just a completely stranger for you. In all the stories I saw a pattern; the fathers were so involved in their jobs and their own lives that they did not notice that they were missing at home. The emotional distance created by the fathers that had not been there for their kids when they needed him is reflected on them. Children who have grown without a paternal image have like an unfilled space in their hearts. But the important thing in a relationship, does not matter which one, is the communication, trustfulness, and love that you can provide to someone else. I know about missing a father in life, but that should not stop you to be whoever and get in life whatever you want.

WHO CAN YOU SAVE?

A mother by nature always protects her child of any kind of danger. But abortion is taken an innocent life without any consideration. Finding babies in the streets, in containers, or in a public place is totally common in nowadays. I always ask myself how a sixteen or seventeen girl can be so mature to take the decision of having sex, but not to accept the consequence of having a baby.
Kill one, save five. Is this right and permitted? Each person has a primate basic morality that warns us about what is right or wrong. Pulling the lever and killing someone accidentally or pushing a guy consciously to save five persons; it is a tough decision, isn’t it? I would say: “pull the lever…” Anyways you are killing someone, but you do not feel guilty because you did not do it on purpose, and that was your only choice.
Rescue you, rescue me. When someone talks about war, most of the time there are two bands. People who are in favor and support the war even volunteering, and people who are against and do not cheer on. I do not think that because of not supporting the war you are unpatriotic; for the contrary, I think that talking is a rational manner to solve problems.
If someone knocks your door in the middle of the night, bleeding, and saying an incredible story, what would you do? I think that I would have the same impression of the narrator, a murder. It is impressive how our thoughts, fears, taboos even the world can make us distrust in people until the point that we just trust in ourselves. That is very sadly.
At the end, every single person has their own consciousness and their own limits. Each one decides what is wrong and right according their points of view.

THREE KINDS OF DECEPTION

Part of the complement of the life is deception. There are three specific kinds of deceptions that could make us afraid of living. Many people believe their lies and make others believe them, too. Indeed, making a promise to another person that you are not going to keep is completely unfair, unconscious, and mean. Also, there are people who like you to think that they are a nice person and they can help you with all you want, but if you meet them deeply, they are not quietly cool. Other deception comes from the society and its stereotype. Ignorance, closed minds, discrimination, prejudice, and so on make people stereotype others without even know them. For example, that occurred with the African-American lawyer who was applying for a position of waiter and he got a “call man” position. Also, the guy who was on the train was stereotyping for a lady. That makes me feel embarrassed by the society and its elements to judge and classify people. We -and I include myself- should think that everybody is equal and has their own rights, beliefs, and difference in life.
